INDUSTRY:
The leading industry in Saudi Arabia is oil, followed by the agricultural sector. 25% of the world's oil reserves are situated here and the country is now beginning to take advantage of their recoverable gas reserves. The GCC has initialised a plan for total economic integration and as a first phase they have established a Free Trade Zone, to which Saudi Arabia has agreed.
Saudi Arabia contributes to development projects in low income countries, as well as donations to aid agencies.
