INDUSTRY:
Lebanon's main industries are food processing, agriculture, tourism, construction, textiles, oil refining, chemicals and cement. The main agricultural crops are fruits, potatoes, grapes, tobacco, wheat, barley, maize, olives and vegetables. The tourism sector is being expanded and modernised through private investment and international hotel groups are returning to the area. Tourism is expected to greatly contribute to the overall economy.
