INDUSTRY:

The principal agricultural crops of Kuwait are tomatoes, dates, onions and melons. 10% of the World's oil reserves are situated here and the economy is based on the oil industry. It is estimated that the oil reserves will last for 200 years and exploitation of these reserves is relatively cheap as the oil is located close to the surface.

A sophisticated financial system has been developed and Kuwait has also embarked on a plan of long term investments. Kuwait has utilised oil revenues to diversify and expand the industrial sector and in order to preserve the prosperity of the country, a reserve fund for future generations was established.

An effective tool when trading within Kuwait are credit status reports or company searches. Company information will include registration details, credit opinion, locations and financial information, where available.
