INDUSTRY:
The main industries of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) are agriculture, textiles and chemicals. The economy of the TRNC relies on agriculture and the main products are citrus fruits, grapes and wine products. Distribution, manufacturing, tourism and construction are the main employers. Tourism is the main growth area and the TRNC has also established a Free Zone in order to attract foreign investors.
